Slideshow

The Slideshow section is a dynamic and engaging way to showcase multiple images in a carousel format, making it ideal for highlighting featured products, promotions, or brand imagery.

Setting Up the Slideshow Section

1. Navigate to the Theme Editor: From your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Online Store and click on Themes. Find the Nova theme and click Customize.

2. Add the Slideshow Section: In the Theme editor sidebar, click Add section. Scroll to and select the Slideshow section.

3. Upload Images: In the Slideshow settings, click on each slide to add an image. You can upload or select images from your library. Adjust the settings for each slide, such as alignment, text overlay and opacity to ensure it displays correctly across all devices. We recommend uploading a dedicate mobile image with a square aspect ratio.

4. Customize Settings: Configure the slideshow settings to match your desired user experience. This includes:

• Pagination style: Choose whether to show the pagination style as Dots or as a Counter. If the slideshow has many slides, the Counter style should be used.

• Auto Rotate: Toggle whether the slideshow automatically cycles through each slide.

• Auto Rotate Speed (Change every): Set the duration each slide remains visible before transitioning to the next slide.

• Enable Filter Builder: If you enable this option it will add a Filter Builder block in the slider section. Learn more about Filter builder section

• Show content below images on mobile: If this option enabled, the slideshow look like this on the mobile view:

1. Preview and Adjust: Use the theme editor's preview pane to see how your slideshow will look on both desktop and mobile devices. Adjust as necessary to ensure the best display on all devices.

2. Save: Once you are satisfied with the Slideshow section, click Save to apply the changes to your live store.
